HOW PIP VALUE IS CALCULATED

Pip value = pip size × position size, then converted to your account currency via the current exchange rate.

For EUR/USD at 1 standard lot: pip size is 0.0001, position size is 100,000 units → 0.0001 × 100,000 = $10 per pip. If your account is in EUR instead, the $10 is converted using the current EUR/USD rate.

For USD/JPY, pip size is 0.01 (not 0.0001) because JPY quotes use 2 decimals. 0.01 × 100,000 ÷ current USD/JPY rate = pip value in USD.
